Support Live Birds!
MSGDA Hunt Test Live Bird Account |
To raise money to support live birds at all of our events we started a Live Bird Account in 2007. We ask our members to bring an item to be raffled off during our Saturday Tailgate Cookouts. Suggestions include bumpers, whistles, coasters, blankets, healing sticks, dog bowls, prints, some "doggy" item around the house that hasn't been used, anything for dogs or people that love dogs - basically anything to do with retrievers. Items from our corporate sponsors and some surplus training items from the club were also included.
During the cookout we sold tickets for the preceding raffle. The proceeds were placed in a special account to purchase live birds at future field events. It's a lot of fun and also helps the club keep those quality live birds coming! |
