What are Picnic Fun Hunt Tests?

Picnic Hunt Tests are mock hunt tests with the intention to show new members or interested hunters how the NAHRA Field Tests can help improve your dog’s abilities in the duck blind as well as in the pheasant field.

This is also a great opportunity for handlers to learn some training tips, to shake off the rust of a more seasoned retriever from the long dark winter, and to get outside in the sun and socialize with friends we haven’t seen since last fall’s hunting season.

Junior handlers and individuals interested in training hunting retrievers are encouraged to come out and partake in our events. Guest and non-members are welcome.

Remember that all our events are family events. We look forward to seeing you and your family at this season’s Picnic Fun Hunt Tests and our NAHRA Licensed Field Tests.
