2013 NAHRA Calendars Available!!!

The Midnight Sun Gun Dog Association will be making a order for 2013 NAHRA Calendars on December 10, 2012.  If you would like to order a calendar please email with the number of calendars you would like to order, or you can order your own at the NAHRA website.  Please see details below:

 

2013 NAHRA Calendars Available!!!
NAHRA 2013 Calendar CoverThe NAHRA BOD is proud to announce the availability of the 2013 NAHRA Calendar. View the calendar at http://www.skellyloy-gis.com/downloads/Final.pdf.This Calendar features full color photos of NAHRA dogs in action and at play. It is a celebration of the NAHRA dogs and the NAHRA way of life. It includes a discussion of why NAHRA dogs are as effective so conservation tools. Also included is Regional Map and contact information for each Club.
Calendars are available for $15 each (1 to 9 copies) or $12 each for orders of 10 or more copies. Clubs are encouraged to purchase multiple copies of the Calendar to distribute to club supporters, landowners, and especially for potential new NAHRA Members. A space has been reserved on the back cover to allow clubs to add a sticker that details specific club contact or event information.

Please join us for our final NAHRA Field Test of 2012. The Richard Voth Memorial Alaska Regional will be July 14-15 at Boyd’s Farm in Palmer. Entry Forms and details are attached to this email. We will be having our biggest raffle of the season and will include items from Zinger Winger, Black Lab Vodka, Tri-Tronics, and NATIVE dog Food.

We will also have a special BBQ on Saturday following the events.

Just a reminder, The NAHRA Invitational will be here in June 2014. The NAHRA Invitational is designed to showcase the NAHRA Master Hunting Retriever (MHR). All MHR’s are qualified to run in a NAHRA Invitational. We will be having handlers and their dogs traveling from all areas of North America to attend this event. In order to qualify for an Invitational, a dog must pass 5 NAHRA Senior tests. Dogs with a NAHRA Intermediate title need only 4 NAHRA Senior Passes.

June 2012 NAHRA Field Test June 23-24 2012 Pt. Mackenzie, Alaska

The Midnight Sun Gun Dog Association (MSGDA) will be hosting a Licensed NAHRA Hunting Retriever Field Test on Saturday June 23 and Sunday June 24 on various farms in Pt. Mackenzie, our field test headquarters will be at the Pt. Mackenzie General Store (directions on page 2). Please meet there each morning.

There will be double events during the weekend with a Started, Hunter, Intermediate, and Senior test on both Saturday and Sunday. Qualifying dogs and their owners will be awarded an official NAHRA rosette and accompanying band.

There will be a potluck barbecue and tailgate raffle/auction following the event on Saturday.

NOTE: THE EARLY BIRD ENTRY FEE DISCOUNT! All entries received before June 18 will receive a $10 discount!
