Sid Sherwood Memorial NAHRA Field Test

Long time trainer, supporter, mentor, friend and MSGDA Hall of Famer Sid Sherwood past away October 31, in Temple Texas.  In remembrance, the Midnight Sun Gun Dog Association will rename our June Field Test to the Sid Sherwood Memorial NAHRA Field Test.

Class is Full! Winter Training Classes!

peekbooMSGDA is happy to announce that we will once again be offering training classes starting November 28th, and going up to our first picnic event in early May. We are excited that Baron Rea with Wetland Retrievers will once again be teaching these classes. The first class will start November 28th at the office building of the Palmer Fair grounds, this will be for introductions and course outlines. The plan will be to meet once a week (Saturday or Sundays) and have a class for advanced (Intermediate and Senior level) as well as Beginner (Started and Hunter).

Waitlist

Class cost will be $200.00 for current (2015) MSGDA members and $225.00 for non-members (will include 2016 membership) or current members that would like to renew through 2016.

NAHRA West Regional

The West Regional Field Test this 25-26 July will be hosted by Puget Sound Retriever Club in Dewatto, WA.

Frank Plewa, NAHRA President, and Valerie Plewa are flying from Pennsylvania to judge. We will also have John Gilbert, who is representing the West Region on the judges panel at the 2015 NAHRA Invitational this year, and Paul Pommerening. Both John and Paul are from Spokane.

We are going to have a wine tasting before the banquet this year featuring Region West wines. …
